A new study shows that many children who’ve asthma have a sensitivity to peanuts, but didn’t know it. Conducted by researchers in the U.S., the analysis looked at pediatric asthma patients at a pediatric pulmonary clinic specifically. The scholarly study will be presented at the ATS 2015 International Conference. Many of the respiratory symptoms of peanut allergy can mirror those of an asthma attack, and vice versa.
